How an automatic renewal is generated and paid
The system usually prepares renewals within the 15 days before the due date. It generates a proforma invoice with the services, the period, the amount and the payment deadline. Do not confuse that request with an invoice that has already been paid.
When a new proforma invoice may not appear
Check whether the service has renewal turned off, whether there is already a pending payment or whether a paid renewal is still being processed. In those cases no other request should be generated for the same period. Open Billing > Pending payments and the service's page before repeating the operation.
Reminders and payment
Renewal reminders help you remember the due date, but it is worth checking the panel too. Check the main email, sub-account notifications and the additional recipients in the billing preferences.
If the service has a valid direct debit and is not excluded, check the date and status of the charge. If it is already in progress, do not also pay it by another method.
In all other cases, open the proforma invoice and complete the payment with one of its available options. Having a default method is not the same as authorising automatic card or PayPal charges.
After payment
Check that the document shows as paid and that the service's renewal completes. If the payment is confirmed but the date does not update, contact us before generating another request.
To renew early, follow the on-demand renewal guide. To stop the service, turn off its renewal and check whether there is already a charge being processed.
