LiteSpeed Web Cache Manager in cPanel
LiteSpeed Web Cache Manager lets you manage the account's LiteSpeed cache from cPanel. It is used to detect WordPress installations, manage their plugin and purge responses. Each application's specific settings are made in its own plugin.
Open it and find the installation
- Log in to cPanel and search for LiteSpeed Web Cache Manager.
- Open the WordPress installation management and use the scan option if the website is not in the list.
- Check the domain and path before selecting an installation: an account can hold several websites or test copies.
- Review the operation's status and message, not just that the installation appears in the table.
If the website is not detected, check that it is a complete WordPress installation on the account. Do not install another copy to make it appear. Note the domain, path and error if you need help.
Enable or disable
Before enabling LiteSpeed Cache, save the current configuration and resolve any conflict with another page caching plugin. The manager does not decide for you whether all of a shop's modules are compatible.
After enabling it, open WordPress and follow the configuration and checking guide. Test public pages and personalised content. When you disable it, also check that no old responses remain in another CDN layer.
Purge one website or the whole account
Purging an installation affects its cache; Flush All has a wider scope within the account. Choose the most limited action that solves the problem.
Purging does not delete posts or the database, but it forces responses to be generated again. It can temporarily increase resource usage. Do not schedule frequent full purges as a substitute for a proper invalidation policy.
If a change still does not appear, check the plugin cache, the browser and the CDN, and also verify that you edited the right installation.
Other applications
LiteSpeed has integrations for PrestaShop, Magento, Joomla, Drupal and MediaWiki.
Their existence does not mean the WordPress detector can install them automatically. Use your application's guide and check requirements, licence where applicable and compatibility before enabling its cache.
